Machine learning is so pervasive today that you probably use it dozens of times a day without knowing it. Many researchers also think it is the best way to make progress towards human-level AI. In this seminar, you will learn about the most effective machine learning techniques, and will gain practice by implementing them and by getting them to work for yourself. More importantly, you’ll learn not only about the theoretical underpinnings of learning, but also gain the practical know-how needed to quickly and powerfully apply these techniques to new problems.
This seminar provides a broad introduction to machine learning, data mining, and statistical pattern recognition. Topics include: (i) Supervised learning (ii) Unsupervised learning (iii) Best practices in machine learning. The seminar will also throw light on numerous case studies and applications, so that you’ll also learn how to apply learning algorithms to building smart robots (perception, control), text understanding (web search, anti-spam), computer vision, medical informatics, audio, database mining, and other areas. After completion of this seminar Students will gain knowledge in Machine learning algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks, and Logistic Regression.

Speaker Bio:Dr. Hemachandran K has been awarded Ph.D. in the area of VLSI and M. Tech. Degree in VLSI & Embedded System Design from Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute University, Chennai. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of Digital Electronics, VLSI design and Machine Learning. He has authored/co-authored over 20 papers in refereed international journals and conferences.
