Advanced Conduction and Radiation in Heat Transfer can be encountered in many applications ranging from design and optimization of traditional engineering systems, such as heat exchangers, turbine, electronic cooling, heat pipes, and food processing equipment, to emerging technologies in sustainable energy, biological systems, security, information technology and nanotechnology. As an outcome, the students will be aware of the principles of conduction and convection as an essential tool in analyzing and designing any system or systems wherein heat and mass are transferred.

Dr. V. P. Venkataramanamurthy did B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, M.Tech Refrigeration and air-conditioning (Thermal) from JNTUA and Ph.D. from ANNA University, Chennai. He has a total experience of 24 years. He has published 15 papers in National/ International journals and conferences. He is a Life Member of ISHRAE, ISTE, ISME and Indian energy, and fuel users. He has guided 32 UG projects and 12 PG Projects. He has filed 6 patents.
